Let's begin with the end ! I am presently pursuing (joined March 2007) my PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) degree in Nanotechnology from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), Suwon, South Korea. I have joined in SKKU Advanced Institute of Nanotechnology (SAINT) under department of Physics  in the Carbon Nanotube research group. You can find me and my research guide (Prof Young Hee Lee) by just clicking here. Our research group is a part of Center for Nanotubes and Nanostructured Composites (CNNC) in the department. My work activities in the PhD is CNT-FET (carbon nanotube - field effect transistor), CNT-FED (field emission display), Metal wire-TFT (thin film transistor) and transparent TFT fabrication and measurements. You can have more information about my work and publications by visiting our CNT research group.

I did my masters in physics (M.Sc. in Physics) from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) in the department of physics, Mumbai, India. I got my degree in July 2006. Those 2 years of my masters hostel life will be memorable during my rest of the life.

I had done my B.Sc. (as Physics Honours) from University of Calcutta in Barasat Government College, west bengal, India. Those wear the best days in my life. You can have a glance to know about it more elaborately by clicking the links "B.Sc. college days" above.

During my B.Sc. and M.Sc. days I have been involved with lot of projects and workshops. Among them my M.Sc. thesis project ("Thin crystalline solar cell obtained by Aluminium induced crystallization" in IIT Bombay) and a big Microelectronics project in Germany (University of Freiburg, Institute of Microelectronics, Germany) were the memorable one. This is where my interest in research work has taken a new dimension.

I received a scholarship from German Academic Exchange (DAAD), to be in Freiburg, Germany for the above project. This indeed provided me a path for getting one step forward towards my goal.

I have been always very much interested in computer. I did a lot of course in FOTRAN, C, C++, HTML, DHTML and little bit of JAVA also. I can work with most of operating system environments. You can have a glance to know my computer knowledge by clicking in the above links "computer knowledge".
